Requirements to ship human remains vary from state to state and sometimes even county to county. We will work with you to let you know what those requirements are and what paperwork is needed.

It is very important that you do not schedule service times with the family until you have received a flight.

Many states require that the death certificate be signed and filed before shipping can occur. We recommend you obtain all of the statistical information from the family as soon as possible.

Some state boards require we confirm that the funeral home where the arrangements are or will be made has a current license in that state.
